About Me
I'm a pediatrician, a Brazilian native, and a South Florida local — and I'm genuinely grateful to be caring for families right here in Palm Beach County.
Being a mother to four young daughters has deeply shaped the way I practice pediatrics. Navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood myself allows me to approach families with greater empathy, understanding, and compassion. As both a pediatrician and a working mom, I strive to provide thoughtful, practical, and supportive guidance that meets families where they are and helps them feel heard, reassured, and cared for.
Kids make me laugh every single day. Even in the middle of a serious exam, someone will say something completely unexpected and it just lights up the room. That resilience, that humor — it's part of what keeps this work so meaningful.
I focus on reading the room. Every child is different. Some walk in ready to go, others need a little more time to warm up. For the little ones, you might hear me singing down the hall. For teens, sometimes all it takes is noticing their shoes.
My specialty areas are newborn and infant care and early childhood development. As a parent myself, I focus on evidence-based care that's realistic for actual family life.
Outside of the office, you can find me at the playground or trying a new restaurant around town. If you see me, come say hello!"
