Well-visit Schedule
Routine visits are scheduled at specific stages of your child’s life. Below, you’ll find the schedule, along with the recommended immunizations, tests, and procedures. At times, however, we may vary from this schedule based on your child’s personal needs and development.
Our practice follows the immunization guidelines put forth by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

For more information, please click on any vaccine below to be taken to the Vaccine Information Statement published by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). You can also visit www.vaccinesafety.edu and www.immunize.org.

Frequently asked questions
How do you diagnose and treat ADHD?
Every child develops differently, but signs like trouble focusing, impulsivity, or difficulty managing emotions can sometimes point to ADHD. If your child’s behavior is affecting school, friendships, or daily routines, it may be time for an evaluation. You don’t have to figure it out alone. We’re always here to discuss any concerns with you.
How do I schedule a behavioral health visit?
You can schedule a behavioral health appointment online or by calling our practice. Our team will help match your family with the right provider and make sure you get care quickly — whether it’s a first-time evaluation or ongoing support.
Do you screen for anxiety and depression?
Mental health is healthcare! We do screen for anxiety and depression, especially as our patients enter their teenage years. Symptoms can look different in every child, so our providers ask age-appropriate questions and screening tools during well-visits to ensure your child is fully supported. If needed, we create a personalized care plan that may include behavioral strategies, therapy, and, when appropriate, medication management. If you ever have any concerns in between well visits, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us on the patient portal. We’d always rather discuss your concerns - via messages or an in-office appointment - rather than let your symptoms go unaddressed.
Do you provide guidance on sleep, potty training, and nutrition?
Yes, we’re here for all of it. Our pediatric providers regularly support families through everyday milestones like sleep routines, potty training, and healthy eating habits.
We’ll meet you where you are, offer age-appropriate guidance, and tailor our advice to your child’s needs (and your family’s lifestyle). There’s never any judgment, just helpful evidence-backed tips you can actually use.
We’re always happy to discuss these topics at your well visits or whenever it’s on your mind. Never hesitate to reach out to us via the patient portal to ask your questions.
Can you refer us to a specialist if needed?
Yes. If your child needs care beyond our office — whether it’s a cardiologist, dermatologist, therapist, or another specialist — we’ll help coordinate the referral and make sure you have everything you need.
We’re happy to be your first stop and ongoing partner, even if your child needs support from a broader care team.
Do you offer diagnostic testing?
We offer two main types of diagnostic testing to support your child’s health: preventive screenings and tests to evaluate symptoms.
Preventive screenings are recommended at certain ages, based on guidance from Bright Futures and the American Academy of Pediatrics. These may include:
- Cholesterol screening at recommended ages
- Hemoglobin testing at ages 12 months and 24 months, and again at ages 11 and 16
- Lead screening, typically at 12 months and 24 months.
In addition, we offer diagnostic testing when your child is sick or showing symptoms, which helps us understand what’s going on and guide next steps. Depending on symptoms, this may include testing for:
- COVID-19
- Flu
- Mono
- RSV
- Strep throat
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Your child’s provider will always talk through whether testing is needed and what the results mean. Our goal is to use testing thoughtfully, so families get clear answers and the right care at the right time.
