About Me
I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner, and working with children has been a thread running through my entire life. Camp counselor, Sunday school teacher, babysitter — there was always something pulling me toward kids.
I started my career as a pediatric nurse in an ICU, and what I saw there shaped everything. Kids who didn't need to be as sick as they were. Accidents and illnesses that could have been prevented with the right education and resources. That's what led me to become a practitioner. Prevention has been at the heart of my practice ever since.
I've been caring for families here for over 25 years, which means I've watched a lot of babies grow into teenagers and young adults. That continuity is something I treasure deeply.
I'm a certified mental health specialist, and ADHD is an area I'm especially passionate about, both professionally and personally. These kids are bright and capable, and sometimes they just need a little extra support to thrive.
For families navigating a chronic condition, I'll often connect them with another family who has walked the same road, because knowing you're not alone makes all the difference.
Outside of the office, I stay grounded through family and the relationships I've built in this community over the years.
