While signing up in advance is not required, we recommend it for all new parents so that we know you’re coming and we can reserve a spot with your preferred clinician.
All you have to do is share a few details and choose your clinician if you have a preference.
No preference? No problem! All of our pediatric clinicians are board-certified newborn experts.
Give us a call after your baby is born and we’ll schedule your first appointment within 24-48 hours of leaving the hospital.

Reach out when you're home. We save spots every single day for newborns. We'll get your baby’s first visit on the calendar right away.

Not sure Bluebird Kids Health is right for you? Sign up for an upcoming meet and greet to learn why 10,000+ parents chose Bluebird Kids Health for their newborn care.
We intentionally keep these gatherings small so you’ll have the chance to meet our pediatricians and ask your questions. While there’s no cost to attend, space is limited and we encourage you to RSVP soon.

We recommend that your baby’s first visit, which includes checking their weight, takes place within two days of leaving the hospital.

We believe in the safety and efficacy of vaccines at Bluebird Kids Health. For that reason, we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP’s) vaccine guidelines. After your newborn’s first Hepatitis B vaccine (which is typically given in the hospital after birth), the series starts at 2 months old. We practice shared decision making with parents so we can answer any questions you have regarding this vital component of preventative medicine that keeps your child healthy.
Yes, we have the Beyfortus® (RSV Antibody) injection available for newborns under 8 months old. Pregnant women can get the RSV vaccine between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy. This is an alternative to giving your child the vaccine. We recommend discussing the option with your obstetrician.
If your child is a newborn, please bring their hospital discharge papers and any vaccination records. We also recommend packing a few items to help keep your baby comfortable, like a blanket, pacifier, or extra diapers (see a few more tips here). For older children, bring any health records or vaccination history you have on hand.
