About Me

I’ve been a pediatrician for more than 20 years and have been part of the Palm Beach County community for over two decades. Over that time, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a generation of families and watching children grow into young adults.

My passion comes from making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families. Mental health is a major focus of my work, and I strongly believe in the brain-body connection. Physical and mental health are not separate — they are one.

At Bluebird Kids Health, comprehensive care means caring for the whole child. Prevention goes beyond treating illness. It includes screening early for mental health risk factors, supporting relational health, and helping families build habits that promote long-term well-being. That might mean encouraging children to “eat all the colors of the rainbow,” but also asking whether families are sharing meals and creating time for connection.

Advocacy is central to who I am. I serve as a board member for the Florida chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and as a committee chairperson for the Americal Academy of Pediatrics Payer Advocacy Advisory Committee. I’m committed to strengthening pediatric care in our community so every child has access to the support they deserve.

My advice for parents

Treat each child as their own individual. Avoid one basic rule for everyone — each child is their own special human.
