About Me
I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in social work. My early training in social work continues to shape how I care for patients today.
I believe in providing individualized, holistic care that centers around the whole person. My role allows me to combine medical diagnosis and treatment with a strong therapeutic foundation. I focus on building meaningful relationships, offering education, and integrating both medication and non-pharmacological approaches when appropriate.
At Bluebird Kids Health, I work with children and young adults, typically ages four through 22, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and mood disorders. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is walking alongside families as children develop coping skills, build resilience, and grow into confident young adults.
When families feel overwhelmed, I start by listening. Many parents and children simply need a space where they feel heard and understood. From there, we focus on practical next steps and resources so families feel supported moving forward.
When your child comes to you with a problem, ask: “Do you want my advice, or do you just want to vent?” Sometimes listening is the most powerful support.
